What is the maximum amount per card transaction?

The maximum amount accepted per card transaction is €10,000. This limit applies to both Core Checkout and Core PayLink.

My amount exceeds €10,000 — what should I do?

It is possible to split the payment into multiple transactions of up to €10,000 each. Example: For an amount of €25,000, you can process 3 transactions:

Transaction 1: €10,000
Transaction 2: €10,000
Transaction 3: €5,000

How do I update my password or email address?

Accessing security settings

Click on your name in the top right corner of the dashboard, then on Security.

Updating your password

Enter your new password in the New password field, then confirm it in the Confirm password field. Your password must contain:

Minimum 8 characters
At least one number
At least one letter Click Confirm change to save.

Updating your email address

Enter your new email address in the New email address field, then click Send code. A verification code will be sent to the new address to confirm the change.

What is Core Checkout?

Core Checkout is a card payment solution integrated on your website via our API. When your customer clicks "Pay", they are redirected to a payment page hosted by Core, then sent back to your website after confirmation. Integration requires a developer. Our technical documentation covers the full process.

Your customer clicks "Pay" on your website
They are redirected to the Core-hosted payment page
They enter their card details and confirm the payment
They are automatically redirected back to your website
You receive a real-time confirmation in your dashboard

Payouts

Funds are paid out D+3 after the transaction date
The bank transfer takes an additional 1 to 2 business days

Yes — for each transaction, you can see:

The gross amount collected
Fees deducted (2% + €0.20)
The net amount paid out

Core Payment is a payment solution designed for businesses based in Monaco and France. It is not self-service — every account is created manually after your application has been reviewed.

How does access work?

Access to Core Payment follows several steps:

You fill in the contact form on https://corebycarlo.com/contact/
Our team reaches out to understand your needs and identify the right product: Core Checkout, Core PayLink, or both
You submit your KYC documents — the same for both products (see dedicated article)
You complete a digital identity check (liveness check) — a link is sent to you by email. Have your passport ready to complete this step
We process your application — turnaround: 2 to 5 business days
You receive your live credentials by email: username + password and can access to the live dashboard

How do I create a payment link?

Accessing link creation

From your dashboard,

click on Create a payment link on the Homepage,
or click on Payment link in the left menu, then on Create a link. The page is divided into two sections: Payment details and Customer information. A live preview is displayed on the right.

Section 1 — Payment details

Amount Enter the amount to collect (minimum €1.00 - maximum €10 000.00 ). You can also enable the "Let the customer define the amount" toggle if you want your customer to choose. Available options

Accept multiple payments — the same link can be used by multiple customers or multiple times. Disabled by default (single-use link).
Add an expiry date — the link becomes inactive after the chosen date.

Additional details

Link label (required): Name displayed on the payment page. Examples: "Private event access", "Coaching session".
Invoice number (optional): Internal reference for your exports and accounting. Example: FAC-2025-0012.
Payment note (optional, max 100 characters): Short description visible in your dashboard. Not shown to the customer.
Attachment (optional): Attach a quote, invoice, or image (image or PDF format).

You can select an existing customer from your contact list, or enter new information manually.
