Accept Core payments on your WooCommerce store

Yes, Core works with WooCommerce. Our clients are already taking card payments on their WooCommerce stores with Core.

What it involves

The integration is done through our API, not by installing a plugin from the WordPress directory. In practice, you will need a developer to set it up. Plan for a few days of work, once. Once it is live, you don't touch it again.
A native WooCommerce module is on our roadmap. The API integration available today runs on the same payment infrastructure as the future module, so the work you do now is not wasted.

What you get

  • Card payments on your store: Visa, Mastercard, CB
  • A secure payment page with 3D Secure authentication
  • Every transaction in your Core dashboard, alongside your other payments
  • Your payouts and accounting documents in the same place as the rest of your activity

Two things to know before you start

  • Your store must be in euros. Core settles in euros. If you sell in another currency, talk to us before you start.
  • Refunds are full, not partial. You can refund a complete order from your Core dashboard, within 30 days of the payment. Refunding only part of an order, for example one item out of three, is not automated. Contact us and we will handle it with you.

What to send your developer

Copy this message and send it to whoever looks after your website:

Hi,
We are going to take payments on our WooCommerce store with Core by Carlo. The integration is done through their API, as a WooCommerce payment gateway plugin.

API documentation
One point Core flagged specifically: the payment confirmation received by callback must always be re-verified against their API before the order is marked as paid. It is covered in the guide.
Let us know what you think in terms of timeline.

What we prepare on our side

Sandbox access is created by our team, not by self-registration. As soon as you confirm you are starting, contact us and we send you access to the test environment. Your production access is issued separately, once your integration is validated.
Your developer can test everything safely before going live.
