# How do I create a recurring payment link?

# Charge your customer automatically on a set schedule

A recurring payment link lets you bill the same customer on a repeating cycle (a subscription, a membership, a monthly retainer) without creating a new link each time. Here's how to set one up:

#### 1. Set the amount
Go to **Payment link** > **Create a link**. Enter the **Amount** you want to charge each cycle (minimum €1.00). The preview on the right updates in real time.

#### 2. Choose "Recurring" as the billing type
Under **Billing type**, select **Recurring** instead of **One-time**.

#### 3. Pick the billing frequency
Choose how often the customer is charged: **Weekly**, **Monthly**, or **Yearly**.

#### 4. Set the first payment
Under **First payment**, choose **Immediately** to charge as soon as the customer pays, or **On a specific date** to start the cycle later.

#### 5. Decide when the subscription ends
Under **Subscription ends**, pick one of:
* **Never — until canceled**: the subscription runs until you or the customer stops it.
* **After a number of payments**: it stops automatically after a set count.
* **On a specific date**: it ends on the date you choose.

#### 6. Add the link details and create
Fill in the **Link label** (and an optional **Invoice number**), check the preview, then click **Create payment link**. Share it with your customer to start the subscription.

|| 💡 Once the link is created, the amount and billing schedule can't be edited. If you need to change them, disable the link and create a new one.
